'Counting Beans' I love the name you've chosen Emily, am in awe of the fact that you have a brain that functions equally efficiently on both sides, truly, you are one in a million (in so many ways) and you astound me!
My finances are simple to navigate, the money comes in and it leaves again, I am always searching for pennies by the end of the month and there is never quite enough but I work (have always worked) on the hope that to be resourceful is character building! It needs to be at this time of year with all that has to be thought of, bought, created and wrapped!
Thank you Susie! I’ve been considering for a while whether to bring the two together, and I’m actually quite excited at the prospect of the magic bean exchange! I think it might be fun 🤩. Resourcefulness is the perfect antidote to scarcity, and goes hand in hand with creativity 💛✨
I've found it fascinating that you are accountant by day and creative by night. Mainly because you are just so f...g accomplished! As you may notice I haven't written my Substack this week - first time in over a year and a half. I simply can no longer switch on my right side brain. The left has too much to work out logistically. I will get back there but it is very very hard to balance it. I have had to give in to the left for a bit. Love and respect to you. xx
Sometimes the left side needs allllllll the space. The right side will have it's time again and I will be here, to enjoy your beautiful funny words when they arrive.
