Two beautiful souls in one place ! Thank you both for always painting pictures with words that linger on through my day, tugging unexpected sighs of pleasure and awe from my breath.
Emily, Winnifred looks so perfect in her gorgeous shelled home! 🐋x
Winnifred looks right at home and so beautifully ador(n)ed! ❤️😍 you’ve captivated Rebecca’s writing so perfectly: “sorrow and wonder, science and soul.” I share your fascination for her writing.
Thank you Emily for sharing this with us. You made a beautiful home for Winnifred.
Rebecca, you made me realize that creativity always is an act of co-creation. Thank you. I have found myself saying things like: My camera prefers brighter days to shoot this. Or, this yarn is stuborn and bright, but if I combine it with a more stable one, it will truely shine. The beautiful part for me is that these relationships change and grow over time. It is an ongoing adventure.
Beautiful. Thank you for sharing. I have read some of Rebecca's posts over the last year and in the words of Emily "I am captivated by the way her words hold both sorrow and wonder, science and soul." Living on the islands of New Zealand there is a lot to relate to.
Thank you so much for this beautiful note Jo 💙 I love knowing that Rebecca’s words resonate all the way across the seas to the other side of the world, to your green and windswept island. It feels like a kind of creative kinship 🌊
Beautiful. Thank you both—you’re two of my favorite humans over here and continue to rewild and inspire me. And accepting a liquidity of vision is such a gorgeous expression, I will go throughout my day today holding this gently in my mind’s eye—“like writing, painting with watercolours is a conversation between creating and listening, a democracy rather than a dictatorship, a lesson in accepting a liquidity of vision, a lack of control.”
I love that so much too, Kimberly - creativity is a democracy 💛 you are so kind and generous and encouraging, and I hold so many of your words in my mind and heart from your gorgeous letters, the feeling is entirely mutual. Much love xx

Thank you Jeannine, such kind and generous words - I think that there could be no greater praise for a writer, to paid pictures in the mind 💛✨
