So beautiful Emily - all of it, your writing, photos and thoughts.

Noticing is what makes life rich. It's what pulls us out of the trance, the worries and the fears.

Everything makes sense when we notice frosty crystals on mushrooms!

You make the world a better place. Thank you. 💛

Utterly gorgeous dear Emily... every word rings tiny beautiful bells on this frosty Monday morning...

Let the year unfold as it will, I am adopting this policy also, I loved when you said, "But I want to notice more and I want to more than notice. I want to imprint them on my soul, both the monumental and the seemingly insignificant, exposing them to the light of my heart, so they can develop into memories I can revisit and marvel at again and again." Yes yes yes to this... especially I want to more than notice! I do... I want to devour every detail and file it away in my heart to pass on, to love, to know...

What a wonderful start to my Monday - thank you 🙏🏼💛xx

And right at the bottom, this....

"And nobody

KNOWS-tiddely-pom,

How cold my

TOES-tiddely-pom

How cold my

TOES-tiddely-pom

Are

Growing" I love Winnie the Pooh (still) and here its -7c this morning Tiddely-Pom, Tiddely-Pom!

Have a good week lovely! 🤗

We are kindred spirits in so many ways, I think, dear Susie. It was cloudy here on Saturday night for our date with the dark and Chloe’s voice, and to my sadness, the frost has lifted, but the moon was beautifully bright this morning when I opened the curtains before going to make the tea!

And of course you love Winnie the Pooh! I am in no way surprised. When it’s cold and especially when it snows, I think of that poem. I don’t know why it stuck in my head so thoroughly when my mum read it to me as a child, but it did. And how serendipitous that when I came to share the photographs of my completed book nook, I noticed it stands beside my beautiful collection of Winnie the Pooh books!

I love your noticing too Susie, how you capture such beautiful reflections to share them with us, yours and Chloe’s letters are the ones I treasure the very most. Keep noticing, keep sharing your noticings with us. It is a delight. Sending love for a wonderful week 💛✨ xx

Both you and Chloe were with me in spirit when I wandered up the hill just as the moon and stars were rising with my little Wolfie dog, we gazed in wonder and gratitude for all the celestial beauty in this world for all of us, although Wolfie may have been slightly distracted by a deer... I think he may have a different interpretation on the word celestial!

We are definitely kindred spirits dear Emily, I don't even think the words need uttering... and, I am so touched by having my letters mentioned in the same breath as Chloe's I can't even speak - thank you, from my heart 💛xxx

Glorious reflections, observations and imagery! Like you, I’ve always adored miniature worlds, so I could feel the excitement right alongside you as your macro lens arrived. Those tiny mushroom crystals and the daisy petal frost put a gentle, happy smile on my face. Thank you for sharing your wonder-filled heart with us.

Thank you Kimberly, how lovely to discover a kindred microcosmophile (totally made up word…!) I think it might be why I am so drawn to fairy stories and I am most definitely in danger of filling my camera roll with nothing but photographs of miniature things. I was utterly delighted to find the mushrooms, I’m so pleased you enjoyed them too - thank you for being here 🍄‍🟫✨

Like you, I have no charted course. Perhaps that's the best. Just shove off and see where the tide takes you.

I wonder if, for me, it’s a product of getting older. These last years I have rebelled against the norm of setting plans and objectives and resolutions, although I used to set them when I was younger.. I love the idea of just shoving off and seeing where the tide takes us, and feel comforted that there are others who feel the same, thank you for reading and for your words Lee 💛✨

A book nook! I had never heard of that before, but I will look for it, or figure out how to create one.

I have enjoyed making it so much Nancy, I’m sure you would love it. The ones I have done were kits, but I have seen some that creatives have made without a kit, that were awesome!
