Emily this is so lovely, when I read "But creativity isn’t about necessity, it’s about possibility." I feel every word. It is a necessity in this often harsh life to just lose ourselves in the world we create, and no matter the form it takes... so long as we see something beautiful and artful at the end.

Sometimes when I’m struggling to sleep after waking in the night, I think of the stories of my characters, to drift back off to sleep. I hope that the winter holidays are restful for you dear Susie and that you are able to find some time for creativity and to rest ❄️🤍🩵
