I love pictures.

Pictures cross cultural boundaries and language barriers, they can set expectations, tell a story, evoke emotions and change our mood. They can capture a fleeting moment that words alone might struggle to contain. An illustration can make the abstract feel tangible, the complex feel simple. It can inspire us, resonate with us, move us, and perhaps even help us see the world differently.

But I love words, too.

A well-chosen phrase can spark the imagination just as vividly as a painting. Words can be clever, moving, or unexpected. They can challenge our thinking, open doors in our minds, and paint pictures in our memory as vivid as anything our eyes can see.

And what I love most is the magic that happens when words and pictures come together, when an image gives shape to a story, when a phrase deepens the meaning of an illustration, when the two become something more than they could ever be alone.
