I have just read through your ‘haven’t done list’ and placed a tick on every one! And I’ll add another, I haven’t put up a tree (yet) - never ever, have I had so little time to do so much but his evening, as I returned from the last class day until January (bliss) I sat down and realised, actually, it doesn’t matter because Christmas can be however we want it to be... nobody is judging us this year and that feels wonderful!
Enjoy your peaceful family day Emily. Happy holidays 🤍❄️☃️xx
Thanks so much Sarah!! Although I’ll probably let the kids ice skate and I’ll watch from the outside 🥰 I’ll definitely be eating more chocolate though 😜
I did! I drew the pictures in Procreate, put them together within Endless Paper and then videoed it. I created the animations for the end sequence in Procreate Dreams and Procreate and then put it all together in Canva 💛
I love the idea of Endless Paper. As a creative tool, it's just fantastic. Perhaps it's just my own lack of ability to harness it but I found it to be a little clunky. There is a French artist called Vaskange who uses Endless Paper in a way that makes me want to cry it's so lovely.
I don’t do any drawing on endless paper, just use the app and drop in my pictures. I had a look at Vaskange and it’s amazing!! I have lots of ideas on using it more, just not enough time!! I absolutely love procreate dreams. I’ve wanted to do some more animation for a while but after effects looks so complex I just didn’t have time to invest in learning it, but I’ve picked up procreate dreams much better 💛
About the video attached to this post-- how large of a digital canvas does something like that require? And what platform do you use? I’m a new follower, so if you’ve said it in the past, I wouldn’t know. I use ProCreate, and it won’t let me create a file large enough to do something like that.
Hi Caelie, welcome 😊 it’s lovely to connect with you here. I haven’t shared the behind the scenes on this so you’ve not missed anything! All the illustrations were drawn in procreate, but I put them together into another app called endless paper and the animation at the end was created in Procreate Dreams. I’m planning on doing some posts next year about the apps I’m using to create my work.
Cool! Thank you! I've thought about buying ProCreate Dreams, though I'm not consistently good enough at drawing to be interested in something like that quite yet. I will have to check out Endless Paper, though. Thank you, Emily!
I haven’t don’t lots of things yet either, partly because we’ve been away in France for the past week and it’s been so chilled and nice to be away from the Christmas madness of the UK.
Heading back today and fully expecting a nightmare day of travel...
Have a wonderful Christmas doing what works for you and your family! xx

Thanks so much Susie 🤍 yes!! Here’s to no judgement and Christmas being however we choose. Happy holidays ❄️
This is so much fun! I hope you get to that ice skating and even more chocolate!

That is beautiful and exceedingly clever!
Thank you Rachel! 😊
Hi Emily,
So lovely! :))
Did you use Endless Paper to make this? Just wondering....

This was beautiful ❤️
Thank you Janice 🥰
A wonderful collection of things not done. We need to celebrate this more often since not doing means making space for resting, connecting, being.
